For the INTL live project, the brief was to imagine aliens making contact with humanity and showcase the best of us. I took a different spin on the idea and reimagined the word 'alien' beyond its usual meaning, because in many ways we are all somewhat alien.
My concept, 'Outer Nation', is an airport campaign designed to make all new arrivals, whether that is aliens or travellers, feel welcome and at ease. The main feature "The Beauty of the Unknown" is an interactive wall located at the arrivals gate, displaying envelopes filled with letter and photos left by previous travelers. New arrivals (aliens/foreigners) can take one to experience a warm welcome, and when they depart, they are invited to leave their own envelope with a joyful memory or recommendation of a place to visit, creating a continous cycle of shared connect.
